My daughter and I made the pilgrimage to Blacksburg over the weekend. We enjoyed our first Va. Tech football game, watching the Hokies play Furhman and win 24-7. The weather was fantastic and our seats were incredible. Thanks Bob.
Walking around the campus took me back to my earlier college days when I went there to party with friends. It was quite moving to see the memorial to the students killed several years ago. The school did a good job on preserving the memory of the students. It was definitely weird walking past certain buildings and explaining to my daughter that so many people were killed right inside those doors.
On a lighter note, I can't wait to go back and catch another game. Go Hokies.
