A Cheetah named Gremlin

This won't be your typical "techie" blog entry. It's about a friend of mine that I never met, half a world away. No, he's not a man or a woman. He is a cheetah named Gremlin. I adopted him through the Cheetah Conservation Fund. I picked him from all of the other cheetah's because he, like many African animals, had a hard life growing up. I sponsored him and received his picture. Unfortunately, I received an email saying that Gremlin was dead. Poachers, other cheetahs, lions, disease? No, the nice person who was darting him to perform a health check. Unfortunately the dart fractured his front leg and it eventually required him to be euthanized. How sad it is when the thing designed to prolong your life actually causes the end. Gremlin, you will be missed.
